Eye Of The Storm

I got the idea for this painting when out on a  ‘distanced walk’ on Bamburgh Beach during the pandemic. There I saw a family enjoying themselves on a sunny day having a break from the threat of Covid which was all around at the time. I saw a synergy with the concrete blocks which had been laid on the beach during the second world war to ward off another global threat and liked the idea of using them in the composition.
 
Canvas size: 70cm x 70cm 
Painted using artists quality oil paint on canvas
Signed and dated front and Framed.
