The Weathervane - Go West
Using photos taken from a camera with a telephoto lense can give a totally different view or detail of a landscape or building. The Red Light house on the Herd Groyne at South Shields has a fine weathervane on it which would not be seen in such detail by the naked eye. Nor the handrail that is for someone to climb the roof. And on a summers day the blue sky juxtaposed with the red of the roof make as a fine colour combination. High level clouds with a vapour trail echoing the angles on the lighthouse roof. The sky is painted in thin even layers of blue paint, though the texture of the canvas is still seen through.
